Public speaking is scary,
but what if you had fun with it?
Let’s make it something you seek,
not something to fear.
I help teams and individuals
build their communication confidence

Most people avoid public speaking,
missing chances to lead and connect.
What are you losing by not speaking up?
Let’s flip the script and make you a winner.
You can become the confident, compelling speaker that you dream of.
Empower…
How can I help you?
I typically help in one of three ways.
-
For teams. I have three types.
1) Sell it to me!
My signature format and very fun. Doubles as a team social.
Ideal if you want to develop presentation skills AND foster culture.2) My masterclasses.
If you want a more intense learning experience.
Very interactive. You’ll walk away feeling empowered and equipped!3) Bespoke.
Tailored to your organisation and desired outcomes.
For example, my work with kids is bespoke. -
For individuals who want to improve their presentation and/or communication skills.
You could be gearing up for an important talk or maybe you want to enhance your overall communication skills.
-
If you’re hosting an event and would like to inspire your audience.
1) I share public speaking insights and actionable tips
2) I tell the awe-inspiring story of my immigrant parents, as I did in my TEDx talk.
“What started with fear turned into four hours of open sharing, practical tools, and a killer final presentation.
Emily guided us with empathy, clarity, and a lot of fun.”
Danielle Grapne, Nordic Head of CRM & Sales Enablement, Schibsted
“We left the session with sharper communication skills but also more confidence and connection as a team.”
Raine Peake, E-commerce Director, Crew Clothing Company
“Plenty of practical takeaways that we can immediately apply to public speaking.”
Jessica Chandler, Head of Ecommerce Product Management, Virgin Media O2
I have a long-term
love for storytelling.
But my love for public speaking began in 2022.
I was 21 years old. Speaking in front of 800 people.
In my final year of studying English Language & Literature at Oxford University, I applied to speak at the TEDxOxford conference. I was lucky enough to win, but I was extremely nervous.
It was my first time properly doing public speaking.
I still remember my buckling knees, fearing I would literally be incapable of walking up on stage.
But, inspired to tell the unbelievable life stories of my immigrant parents, I found my last bit of courage and slowly walked to the red dot, observing the hundreds of faces focussed on me.
My talk remains the scariest thing I’ve ever done.
But simultaneously my proudest achievement to date.
I felt brave and empowered, and I seek to inspire the same transformation in others.
